You Are an Infinite Treasure – Louise L. Hay

People have been asking me questions on a variety of subjects for many years. Almost all of them have wanted to change themselves—and their world—in some way. I’ve tried to be the catalyst that helps these individuals accomplish their goals.

I think of myself as a stepping-stone on a pathway of self-discovery. It’s my belief that sometimes we can use what we learn from others to make changes in our own lives. I hope you feel that my work has helped you realise that you, too, have the strength within to change, and to find solutions on your own—that is, to seek the answers that are within you.

Deep at the centre of our being is an infinite well of love, an infinite well of joy, an infinite well of wisdom. This is true for each and every one of us. Yet how often do we get in touch with these treasures within? Do we do it once a day? Once in a while? Or are we totally unaware that we have these infinite treasures?

These treasures are part of our spiritual connection and are vital to our well being. A healthy body, a happy mind, and a good, strong spiritual connection are all necessary for our overall balance and harmony. One of the major benefits of a strong spiritual connection is that we can live wonderful, creative, fulfilling lives. And we’ll automatically release so many burdens that most people carry.

We’ll no longer need to be fearful or carry shame and guilt. As we feel our oneness with all of life, we’ll drop anger, hatred, prejudice, and the need to be judgmental. As we become one with the healing power of the Universe, we’ll no longer need illness. And, I believe we’ll be able to reverse the aging process, burdens are what age us; they drag down our spirits.

We need to practice getting in touch with our inner treasures on a daily basis. For the truth of our being is that we’re filled with unconditional love, and people living the truth can change the world. We’re filled with incredible joy. We’re filled with serene peace. We’re connected to infinite wisdom. What we need to do is to know it and live it. Today we’re mentally preparing for tomorrow.

Remember, many questions we may have about life are beyond our current understanding. That’s part of our spiritual learning, to continually expand our understanding of this magnificent experience called Life. No soul has ever been harmed and therefore doesn’t need redemption. It’s our personalities that need to be reminded that we’re spiritual beings having a human experience, not the other way around. As we grow spiritually, we see the perfection of all life.

On a daily basis, give yourself time to listen to your own inner wisdom, your Higher Self. No person can be totally in touch with the plethora of knowledge within them without taking time each day to meditate. Sitting in silence is one of the most valuable things we can do. And then use these affirmations to help you find those answers within:

The power that created the world beats my heart.

I have a strong spiritual connection.

Life supports me at every turn.

I feel at one with all of life.

I believe in a loving Divine Presence.

I trust life to be there for me.

I have a special guardian angel.

I am divinely guided and protected at all times.

I am always progressing on the path of spiritual growth.

I am safe and all is well in my world.

Hello Louise, I feel like I want to say so much about what you have written here, I just don’t know exactly where to start,so I hope my scattered thoughts don’t come out that way in what Iam about to write.
First of all I had the pleasure of attending the I CAN DO IT conference in Toronto Canada! I am speachless at what I observed at the Event! Amazing, is one word that I can use as a discription! I attended the Event because I saw that John Holland posted it & I where I read it. I am so glad that it came to my attention. As much as I was overwhelmed with my experience there I will most definitely be attending next year. I had the opportunity of meeting you when you signed my books and I had said to you that you were a NO NONSENCE kind of Lady! I think that is a perfect way to segway into what I just read in the article above. I have been on this journey of discovery I guess my entire life but especially these last eleven years in particular, with the help of John Edward from Crossing over and his website now INFINITE QUEST which is something John Holland is a part of as well. And with that I connected with HayHouse and all your amazing authors, and people that are a part of this power of thinking. I can honestly say and I am proud to say I have always been a possitive person, possitive thinker, Never really had a problem loving myself because if I did I could really never love anyone else. And with the tragedies I have experienced in my life I somehow could still find a light in the darkness. I thank anyone including myself to be able to be that way in my life. The interesting thing is that with all that said I just recently realised that my downfall, which I am in the process of correcting! LOL is the emotionally part of me. It holds me back or I should say held me back. I am starting to realize that you can have thick skin and still be loving & caring. I witnessed that at your ICAN DO IT conference Louise. I will need time to adjust my ways of thinking when it comes to the emotional part of it; but I CAN DO IT! I continue to have all my possitive thoughts, affirmations from your books & books like yours and I have believed in this forever but people like yourself & the wonderful people that are connected to you, confirm that for me. I’m blessed that I can see this for myself and it’s because Life loves me & I throw Love right back to life. I alays think about ho I want my life and when it’s good it’s because of me and when it sucks it’s because of me too. I get that! It’s always a work in progress even when you are possitive.
Hope to read and write again soon! You guys are great at doing what you are doing, so thanks!
